Sundays this fall are pretty amazing. At the moment, I’m committing to watching seven shows:
- Dexter
- The Good Wife
- Homeland
- The Amazing Race
- Downton Abbey
- 666 Park Avenue
- Revenge
Granted, the last two aren’t appointment viewing, but I’ll keep them piled up and watch over some weekend when I’m sick or the weather’s crappy.
The only thing that brought my day down was the announcement that Seth MacFarlane was going to host the Oscars this year. Over on the AV Club, there’s a comment thread about who would be worse, but I think even Ryan Seacrest would be less offensive. I am considering just fast forwarding through all his bits since I honestly don’t see how any of them could be funny.
